..WALKING WITH THE KNOWN

Are we there yet??? Lord get us there yet!!!!

Those two lines have been ringing in my ears the last couple of hours as I wait and pray, pray and wait for the upcoming steps of Josh and my life 'as one' to come together.  Details as to when, how, and what that all looks like are not to be shared publicly via the internet for deployment safety purposes but please join us and our families and loved ones as we enter with the Lord into a lifelong commitment to cherish, love, learn and care for one another and in doing so as we learn to better live 'together' as His disciples than what we could alone

Aside from that mission reports are continuing on a one to one basis as well as church/organizational level.  My home church had me share an evening in April where other friends and family were also able to join us in learning together more what the culture, religion, and mission diversities bring to light in the area I was working with CRWM: for more future follow-up information stay tuned to http://opendoorsnigeria.org/, http://www.sim-nigeria.org/, or http://www.crcna.org/pages/crwm.cfm

Along with that shorter bits of my expanded outlook have been with those at HOME: House of Missions and Equipping (http://www.sc-home.org/home) in Sioux Center and the Christian Reformed Church in Rock Rapids.  And I was also able to follow-up with an editor of the Lyon County Reporter during my last month of being Stateside.

This upcoming Sunday Mothers Day will be at First Reformed Church, Rock Rapids Sunday School hour and a date yet to be set will be another more detailed viewing in Sioux Center at HOME and the potential for others as well..

Each of the times include much emotional, mental, and spiritual preparation as each setting offers a bit different perspective and role in the needs that the Lord has before them here in the US as well as outside of the States and in how they walked alongside me in Nigeria as well.  I ask for continued prayers as others (especially loved ones and family members including Josh) work with me through these changing transitions in making sense of my Nigerian load and where and how that adjusted fit sits me here and in relationship with others around me

Again a large THANK YOU for all the support, encouragement, and love throughout the last year of this changing journey and growing understanding of walking with our Known Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.  I plan to keep updates coming perhaps a bit more sporadically as Josh and I learn together the now unknown fragmented pieces of our life that He's establishing daily as one.
